PT Global Urban Esensial
PT Global Urban Esensial (PT GUE) is a digital health startup that connects patients with doctors and pharmacies. To enable doctors to become connected digitally, PT GUE launched D2D in 2018. D2D is a mobile app where doctors can enrich their knowledge, collect points to renew their license, and access medical journals according to their needs.
There are now a total of 150 000 doctors in Indonesia. Currently, D2D is only able to reach out to about 17 000 doctors and this engagement is conventionally done through offline events. Doctors, especially in the rural areas of the country, are also realizing that workflow optimization of their clinical practice could increase their time for patient care and engagement. Another potential value which would create network effect is if D2D can serve as the medium for doctors to facilitate renewal of their registry digitally.
Therefore, PT GUE is seeking for technologies which could not only improve the out-reach and on-boarding of doctors but also provide value-added digital services to the doctors’ clinical practice.
The technology or solution should be able to efficiently acquire and manage long tail doctors, especially in the remote areas of Indonesia. At the same time, the solution could also include predictive analytics and complementary solutions to value-add to the workflow optimization and increased productivity at the doctor’s clinical practice.
For the digital registry, blockchain technology could be a candidate to ensure integrity and validity of the certificates, credits and will involve authorized parties such as Indonesian Doctor Association, the Specialist Profession association etc.
Possible technologies and combinations of include the following, but not limited to:
- Workflow Optimization
- Data Analytics
- Predictive Analytics
